December was a busy month for real estate in Tauranga. There was an increase in the number of properties sold compared with the previous month and also against December 2018. There were 299 residential sales for Tauranga City. The median sale price lifted to a new record of $710,000.The average time to sell a property remained the same on 43 days.
However, there were were fewer properties available to sell as fewer new listings came onto the market.
